LATEST | Arshdeep Bains scores highlight reel shootout goal
Canucks prospect, Arshdeep Bains, shows off his skill with a silky backhand-to-forehand move that wins the shoot-out for team white in Abbotsford's scrimmage.
Bains returns to Abbotsford for his second season after a solid training camp in Vancouver. The 22-year-old will continue his fantastic play last season, which saw him play a responsible two-way game and record 38 points in 66 games.
The B.C. native had a solid camp, receiving praise from Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet early in camp. Bains played in three preseason games, where he did not score a point. He was sent down to Abbotsford on October 1st.
Bains will be an essential player for the Abbotsford Canucks this season. The Canucks will hope he can bring those silky moves into games this season. Bains will begin his season on October 13th, when the Canucks face the Laval Rocket.
