LATEST | Canucks prospect making history: Confirmed steal for the team's scouts

Since being drafted 75th overall last June, Canucks prospect Hunter Brzustewicz has been shattering expectations.
Now halfway through his second season with the OHL Kitchener Rangers, the 19 year old is challenging league records.
34 games in, Brzustewicz has 55 points, just two points shy of his full season output from 2022-23.
Brzustewicz is tied with his Ranger teammate
Carson Rehkopf for the OHL lead in points, and is the first defenceman to lead the OHL in scoring at the halfway point in a season since Bryan Fogarty in 1988.
Brzustewicz' offensive explosion this year wasn't enough to secure a spot on Team USA's blueline at the World Juniors, but he'll have a chance to grab sole possession of OHL leading scorer with his teammate Rehkopf missing a few games while competing for Team Canada.
The defenseman is giving reason for Canucks fans to be excited about their already improved blueline!
