After Wednesday's win over the Islanders, Elias Pettersson, JT Miller and Quinn Hughes moved into a three way tie for first place in league scoring.
They're the first trio of teammates to score 26 or more points through 16 games in almost 20 years, with the Senators trio of Dany Heatley, Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson completing the feat in 2005-06.
The trio's offense has been contagious, with Brock Boeser also top ten in NHL scoring at 21 points and Filip Hronek tied for third among D at 17 points - the team as a whole leads the league in goals scored by a margin of 14.
