HIROSE BACK TO ABBOTSFORD: A ROOKIE TO MAKE HIS DEBUT
Allvin announced via the team's X (Twitter) Account that Akito Hirose had been sent back to Abbotsford and that Linus Karlsson would making his NHL debut during his first call-up:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Akito Hirose has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) and F Linus Karlsson has been recalled.
Hirose had been called up following Soucy's injury in Montreal, but the youngster was not given the opportunity to take the ice. Karlsson will be making his debut tonight and it'll be interesting to see where Tocchet decided to slot the young Swede.
