During the win, Elias Pettersson put up three points (one goal, two assists), which put him into first place in points in the entire National Hockey League with 24, ahead of Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov (23) and Artemi Panarin (22), who are in second and third respectively.
A couple of another Vancouver Canucks players have also found themselves in the top-five of the NHL's points leaders. Quinn Hughes sits in fourth place and first among all defencemen in the National Hockey League with 21 points, while J.T. Miller is tied with David Pastrnak and Jack Hughes on 20 points
With Pettersson not under contract after this season, it's great to see that it's not a distraction for him and that he's able to play extremely well on the ice, as he's looking for a second consecutive 100+ point season.
