The Vancouver Canucks kicked off their three-game Eastern Canadian road trip on Thursday night in the nation's capital as they faced the Ottawa Senators.

Thanks to a three-point night from Elias Pettersson and 28 saves on 30 shots from Casey DeSmith, the Vancouver Canucks walked away with a 5-2 victory, improving their win streak to five games and ten wins on the season.
J.T Miller and Quinn Hughes also found themselves on the scoresheet as well, putting up two points (1 G, 1 A) and one point (1 A) respectively, which put them both over the 20-point mark.
After the game, Sportsnet Stats on X revealed an interesting stat involving Quinn Hughes, J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, saying that they're the first trio of teammates to hit the 20-point mark in a team's first 13 games of a season since Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley and Jason Spezza, who did so with the Ottawa Senators during the 2005-06 season.
