Of all the stories, Brock Boeser's got a pretty emotional one to tell. With all he's been through over the last little while, one could only hope that he'd be getting back to the best of his form and early sightings of the season aren't suggesting otherwise.
ENDLESS SUPPLY OF GOALS?
The Canucks' number 6 scored four goals in the season opener, and added one in the following three games. The NHL noted that Boeser was reaching elite company with his season debut:
�'With a goal tonight, Brock Boeser (5-1�6 in 4 GP) can join Alexander Mogilny (7 in 1995-96) and Tony Tanti (7 in 1983-84) as the third player in franchise history with six goals through their first five games of a season.''
Brock Boeser tallied his sixth of the season when he scored the empty-netter with only moments remaining to the third period.
With 6 goals through 5 games, Boeser is tied with Auston Matthews, Nikita Kucherov and Sam Reinhard for the league's lead in goalscoring.
