LATEST | Rick Tocchet confirms surprising last-minute lineup change
The Canucks will be looking to extend their winning streak after their dominant performance against the Tampa Bay Lightning two days ago. Tocchet announced earlier today that Pius Suter would be back in the line-up after an injury kept him out of business for a while.
Tocchet later divulged that the young Swede Nils Aman would be sitting the Canucks next outing against the Panthers, and he also confirmed Suter's place on the line-up:
Mikheyev - Pettersson - Lafferty
Hoglander - Miller - Boeser
Joshua - Blueger - Garland
PDG - Suter - Kuzmenko
''Aman sits tonight, but Tocchet said it was a tough call based on how he's been playing. #Canucks 30th game of the season, just second time they've had both Suter & Blueger in the line-up together''
This comes as a surprise; Aman had been excellent since he was called up from the Abbotsford Canucks. However, adding an experienced centerman like Suter to the team's bottom six will cause an intriguing surge. Known for his scoring ability, the mix of PDG's energy, Suter's stability and Kuzmenko's offensive instincts could be causing the Panthers a certain amount of headaches.
