LATEST | Vancouver Canucks prospect scores first NCAA goal
Back in 2022, the Vancouver Canucks decided to select a big centerman out of the United States Hockey League (USHL) by the name of Daimon Gardner and after three seasons, he's finally made the jump to the NCAA.
Gardner, who is now playing Clarkson University in the ECAC conference of the NCAA and recently, reach a big milestone in his collegiate career.
During Clarkson University's game against Canisius, Gardner scored the first goal of his NCAA career on a beautiful pass from teammate and fellow rookie, Oliver Moberg.
The 19-year-old from Eagle Lake, Ontario is now up to four points (one goal, three assists), six penalty minutes and is a minus-two in 16 games during his freshman year in the NCAA.
From everyone here at Canucks Daily, congratulations to Daimon Gardner on the milestone and all the best for the remainder of the season with Clarkson University!
