NHL makes an announcement on Nikita Zadorov: Bound for NHL history

The Canucks acquired Nikita Zadorov from the Flames, and ever since he got here, he's been lighting it up.
Everybody knew he'd be a defensive force in the playoffs, but the big Z has been exceeding every expectation. Not only has he been a defensive menace, but he's been doing his share offensively, leading the Canucks' Defenseman in point. Even though he's been seeing close to no time on the mad advantage.
With 8 points through the team's first ten games and points in 4 straight home games, Zadorov has a chance to make NHL history in game 5. Big Z could become the second defenseman in Stanley Cup Playoffs history to score in five straight home games, following Paul Coffey. The NHL stated in his regard:
Nikita Zadorov can become the second defenseman in Stanley Cup Playoffs history to score in five straight home games, following Paul Coffey (7 GP in 1985 w/ EDM).
Zadorov will be hitting free agency on July 1st and has been making a solid case for himself. There's no disputing the fact that his value will be through the roof, and it wouldn't be the best thing for the Canucks to let him go.
Given his play and the way he handles himself during the playoffs, would you make it a priority to re-sign Zadorov? Can the Canucks afford to let him go?
