MAJOR | Patrik Allvin gives a massive update regarding Tanner Pearson's future
The Canucks and their medical staff have been heavily criticized over the last little while and Tanner Pearson's hand injury has been the major point of it all.
The veteran winger was limited to 14 games and 5 points in 2022-2023 due to his injuries and it caused quite a stir when Quinn Hughes spoke up about a possible mistreatment. There had been some doubts for the timetable on his return or if he'd return at all. Patrik Allvin gave a massive update on the subject earlier:
'Patrik Allvin says Tanner Pearson's hand has healed and he'll be ready to participate in training camp.''
This is huge for the veteran, especially since he only has one-year left on his deal. This creates an even bigger congestion, however, on the Canucks' wings. This will certainly make up for an interesting battle heading into the season opener. The team now has Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, Garland, Boeser, Hoglander (RFA), Podkolzin, Joshua, Beauvilier, PDG and Pearson under contract.
