It's known that Elias Pettersson has been feeling ''under the weather'' lately and wasn't participating in Wednesday's game because of it. However, Tocchet updated on it and revealed that Pettey and Kuzmenko would be hitting the ice alongside Conor Garland tonight even though they're battling through a viral issue:

Tocchet is icing what could be his opening night roster. Hopefully, this viral thing stops at Kuzmenko and Pettersson since the team is set to open the season on Wednesday.
Pettersson and Kuzmenko led the charge last year for the Canucks, and their performances throughout the pre-season aren't suggesting that they will stop. The pair combined for a total of 78 goals last year, can they manage better results this year?
