The Vancouver Canucks have seen their Stanley Cup Playoff odds fall off a cliff on Thursday following their loss to the Seattle Kraken at Rogers Arena last night.

It was a tough loss for the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night, with Rick Tocchet expressing his disappointment to the media following the game.
The loss, Vancouver's third in a row and fifth in their last seven games, potentially ended their hopes of making it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, despite being mathematically still alive.

Vancouver Canucks Stanley Cup Playoff odds tank on Thursday

Throughout the last month, the Vancouver Canucks have seen their odds to make the Stanley Cup Playoffs fluctuate, but now, they've hit a new low.
Several outlets including The Athletic, MoneyPuck and Hockey Reference, among others, have released updated Stanley Cup Playoff odds for the Vancouver Canucks and other teams around the National Hockey League.
The highest odds of the six outlets highlighted by Noah Strang of Daily Hive come from PowerRankingsGuru, who has the Vancouver Canucks at 6 percent.
Meanwhile on the other side of things, both Hockey Reference and PlayoffStatus.com have the Vancouver Canucks at 1 percent chance of making it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs for a second straight year.
"#Canucks playoff odds update:

- @MoneyPuckdotcom: 1.9%
- Hockey Reference: 1%
- PlayoffStatus.com: 1%
- @TheAthletic / @domluszczyszyn: 3%
- PowerRankingsGuru.com: 6%
- FanDuel Sportsbook: 4.8%" Strang said on X.
With seven games remaining in the regular season and a maximum of 14 points available, the Vancouver Canucks cannot afford to lose and likely will need to go 7-0-0 or even 6-0-1 to have any shot of qualifying for The Big Dance.
Here's Vancouver's remaining schedule:
- Saturday vs Anaheim Ducks
- Sunday vs Vegas Golden Knights
- April 8th @ Dallas Stars
- April 10th @ Colorado Avalanche
- April 12th vs Minnesota Wild
- April 14th vs San Jose Sharks
- April 16th vs Vegas Golden Knights

Puck drop for Saturday's game against the Anaheim Ducks is set for 1 pm PT and can be seen on Sportsnet Pacific.
