BREAKING | Canucks issue statement announcing huge news: Three extensions have been signed
The Canucks announced on Tuesday that they've extended three members of their front office staff.
Cammi Granato and Émilie Castonguay have both received extensions in the Assistant General Manager roles, while Abbotsford Canucks GM Ryan Johnson was also extended and promoted to the role of Assistant General Manager.
General Manager Patrik Allvin commended Johnson's work and said it led to the promotion.
Not only has he done an excellent job in running our American Hockey League affiliate in Abbotsford, but he has also done a lot of great work on the hockey operations side. His player assessment and insightful advice has been a key driver for our improvement at both the AHL and NHL level.
Johnson has been the Abbotsford Canucks' GM since their inauguration in 2017.
Both Castonguay and Granato joined the Canucks organization in 2022.
The terms of each of the extensions are unknown.
