Canucks accomplish rare feat with game four win over the Predators
Clinching his first career playoff win in the Canucks comeback victory, Arturs Silovs became the third Canuck goalie to secure a playoff victory in their first round series, joining the injured Thatcher Demko and Casey DeSmith.
Pulling off that feat, the Canucks became the first team in 20 years to get wins from three different goaltenders in the same series.
The last team to do it? None other than the Vancouver Canucks.
In 2004 in a first round series against the Flames, Alex Auld, Johan Hedberg and Dan Cloutier all got victories for the Canucks.
However, none of the three was able to get a second victory in the series, and the Canucks were toppled by the Flames in 7 games.
They'll hope for better luck getting a fourth victory on the back of either Casey DeSmith or Arturs Silovs on Tuesday night in Vancouver.
