With Marco Rossi's future basically confirmed to be over with the Minnesota Wild, the Vancouver Canucks have reportedly made an official offer to Wild GM Bill Guerin for the Star forward after months of rumors linking the two together.

Since the start of the summer, the speculation and rumors surrounding the Vancouver Canucks' interest in 23 year old Minnesota Wild Star Marco Rossi have been rampant and frequent after the young winger made it clear he was unhappy with the role they had him in.
Although not the best way to go about it, the youngster had a point after putting up 24 goals and 36 assists for 60 points in 81 games.

Even recently, the Canucks were named "front-runners" to land the break out star, and the report appears to be accurate as it has been reported that general manager Patrik Allvin has made an official offer to the Wild.
"The Calgary Flames, the Vancouver Canucks and the Canadiens are among the Canadian teams looking for a young No. 2 center, but I would say among those three, the Canucks have the most interest in Wild center Marco Rossi.
Originally reported by The Athletics' Mike Russo, Postmedia has made it official that Patrik Allvin and the Canucks have made a trade offer to the Wild in order to steal away Rossi, offering their 2025 15th overall draft pick plus an unknown player.
It is unclear what player that is and if Bill Guerin has even responded to the offer, but it appears that all reports and rumors suggesting the Canucks were making a push for Rossi are true.
