Craig Button makes an important comment regarding Zadorov's importance
The Canucks are still chasing their tail in hopes of securing a spot in the second round. While some players haven't been as good as hoped in those first five games, others have risen.
The former NHL GM and now renowned analyst, Craig Button, was on Donnie and Dhalie to discuss the impacts of a few players on the Canucks' roster. The former GM couldn't help but mention the emergence and importance of Nikita Zadorov in the first five games of this playoff series.
He even went as far as saying that if he were building a team, Zadorov would be a part of it:
"If I'm building a team, Nikita Zadorov is on my team.."
@CraigJButton on the play of Nikita Zadorov for the #Canucks against the Preds.
Big Z has been distributing the hard hits in mass, he's scored clutch goals at crucial moments, and he's been electric to watch since the playoffs began. With 3 points in 5 games, some have even been debating that Zadorov has been the Canucks' best defenceman since the playoffs started.
With the big 91 about to hit free agency, it might be time for Allvin to seriously considerto inking him, especially if he intends to have a cup contending team for years to come. Do you agree with Button's take? Should everyone want to have a Zadorov on their lineup? Should Zadorov be the most crucial signing on Allvin's list?
