TSN's Patrick Johnston reports that there has been confirmation that the Vancouver Canucks are openly talking with teams about both J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson, but states EP40 has emerged as the serious trade target.

The reality is that the Canucks do not want to have to move on from either of the forwards, and the fact that there are actual "serious" conversation taking place about moving Pettersson is means the rift is not going to be settled anytime soon.
