With all of the trade rumors that have circulated around the Vancouver Canucks this season, the rumors have come to the forefront when the drama between Elias Pettersson and J.T. Miller escalated as of late.
Although Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin has publicly disclosed that even with the internal issues, he does not want to part ways with either Pettersson, nor Miller.
Nonetheless, the NHL is a business, and if the issues can't get resolved in a timely fashion, and it continues to be a detriment for Vancouver, Allvin may open the doors for teams to start sending their best offers for the superstar forward.
According to Stever Werier, the 3-way trade would make major waves to the current rosters of all three teams.
In reality, these trade scenarios are getting out of hand, and one team always benefits tremendously more than the others, and in this case, the Vancouver Canucks get the short end of the stick.
Yes, the Canucks are looking for a forwards and an upgrade of defense, but, J.T. Miller is not the asset to trade away for it, unless you get another Norris candidate in the making.
Enough is enough with these far fetch trade scenarios, they are never going to happen, and the ones proposes (Elliotte Friedman...) are doing it to stir the pot and cause drama.
