Vancouver Canucks ticket prices have been revealed for the National Hockey League's 2025-26 season and as was expected, some fans aren't too happy.
Over the next month, teams around the National Hockey League are going to begin opening up their single-game ticket sales for the 2025-26 season and fans are excited for the return of hockey after a long summer so far.
Earlier this year, news came out about the Vancouver Canucks
raising season ticket prices for the 2025-26 campaign, including an $850 CAD jump in the 300 level, and it looks like fans will have to fork over a bit more money for single-game tickets as well.
Vancouver Canucks fans not too happy after 2025-26 single-game ticket prices are revealed
In an article on Daily Hive on Tuesday, Rob Williams shared that season ticket members had the chance to purchase single-game tickets for the upcoming season and as everyone should've expected, prices did go up a bit.
When it comes to the cheapest seats, it varies depending on the game and who the Canucks are playing, but one season ticket holder told Williams that there were only five contests with tickets under $100 CAD.
"With the help of a Canucks season ticket member, we saw just five games available in that price range: Buffalo Sabres (Dec. 11), New York Islanders (Jan. 19), San Jose Sharks (Jan. 27), Dallas Stars (March 2), Anaheim Ducks (March 24).
The cheapest price we found was $95." Williams said.
As for the most expensive seat in Rogers Arena for a game this coming season, that'll cost you a whopping $771 CAD when the Toronto Maple Leafs come to town on Saturday, January 31st for a nationally televised contest on Hockey Night in Canada.
"The most expensive seat we found was $771, in the last row of section 107, for the Leafs game." Williams said.
The cost to attend games, not just in Vancouver but around the league, is continuing to rise and unfortunately to the cost of living crisis here in Canada, many fans are being priced out and not able to watch their favourite team in-person anymore.
One fan on social media believes that raising ticket prices after a poor performance during the 2024-25 campaign, which saw the club miss out on the Stanley Cup Playoffs, is pure greed.
"after having such a horrible season the #Canucks still decided to raise the price of tickets. it's not about fans anymore it's all greed." @canucksgrande said.
According to Williams, Vancouver Canucks single-game tickets for the 2025-26 season will go on-sale on Ticketmaster on Sunday, August 10th at 10 a.m. PT.
