In a post on their official website on Friday, HK Poprad, a team in the Slovak Extraliga, announced that they've agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Brady Keeper for the 2024-25 campaign.
Keeper, 28, signed a two-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks in the summer of 2021. A few months after signing with Vancouver, Keeper sustained a broken leg in training camp and missed the entire 2021-22 season. He then spent the entire 2022-23 season with the Abbotsford Canucks, putting up six points in 35 games, before signing with the Montreal Canadiens as an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, 2023.
The Cross Lake, Manitoba native never suited up for Montreal this past season and spent the year in the AHL with the Laval Rocket, registering four points (one goal, three assists), 53 penalty minutes and was a plus-one in 22 games.
