Former Canucks coach Mike Yeo already signed to another franchise?
The Canucks tendered an extension offer to Mike Yeo, but the coach turned it down in order to explore other opportunities. Thus explaining the parties parting ways.

Berube and Yeo previously won the Stanley Cup while coaching the St. Louis Blues.
Mike Yeo is headed for a new opportunity 'closer to home.'
Yeo is from Toronto. And his former associate coach in St. Louis has just taken over *in* Toronto...
