Former Vancouver Canucks Winger Lands Huge New NHL Job After 8-Year Absence From Hockey
Former Vancouver Canucks winger and NHL veteran has officially found a brand new job in the National Hockey League after an 8-year absence, being hired as the new Assistant General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations for the Tampa Bay Lighting.
It's been a pretty busy week for a lot of former Vancouver Canucks players and coaches, most notably goaltender Spencer Martin leaving North America to sign a new contract in Russia and Zac Dalpe announcing his retirement from professional hockey after 16 years.

It was announced today that ex-Canucks winger, Jeff Tambellini, who only played 63 games for Vancouver back in 2010-11 season, has been hired as the new Assistant General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations for the Tampa Bay Lighting.

Jeff has a rich playing experience from his time at Michigan, in the NHL, the AHL and the professional ranks in both Switzerland and Sweden.
From his previous roles with the Michigan Wolverines, Trail Smoke Eaters, Seattle Kraken and during his previous tenure within the Lightning organization, Jeff has acquired valuable experience with general management of staff and budgets; recruiting and scouting of players, player development and coaching.
