Ian Cole makes a bold statement on the Canucks d-core: It says a lot
The Canucks have made lots of exciting addition since the season started. From free agency to the trade deadline, Patrik Allvin added many seasoned veterans to help them toward their ultimate goal.
The team did well by that goal as they entered the playoffs and their first game against the Nashville Predators. On a media tour, the veteran Ian Cole made a very bold statement on the way the defensive core conducted themselves and their business:
«I feel like we have the best D "ore in the league.»
(Canucks Central)
Comin" from a seasoned veteran of Cole's stature, I know it sure says a loCole'seteran who has not only won the Stanley Cup but been on various contending teams; he knows what an excellent defensive core looks like. The Canucks' well-balanced defence did well in their first game. Will Quinn Hughes, Filip Hronek, Carson Soucy, Ian Cole, Nikita Zadorov and Tyler Myers live up to the task and lead the Canucks to victory?
With Thatcher Demko at the top of his game, and the forwards playing every game like there were no tomorrow, there's no telling what this grothere'sd accomplish heading down the road.
