The Canucks are preparing to start Round 2 without Thatcher Demko as the goalie continues to rehab from an injury. While he's not expected back soon, anything can happen with injuries in playoffs.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman joined the Donnie and Dhali podcast to discuss Demko's injury and when Canucks fans can expect him back in the crease.
Friedman says instances like Mikhail Sergachev's return in Round 1 prove that public injury timelines are often "smokescreens," but fans shouldn't hold their breath on seeing Demko suit up soon.
I think at best, some time mid to late series; at worst, he doesn't play but is ready for anything...

The Insider stressed that teams will constantly lie about injuries during playoff time, but he hasn't bee,n given reason to beliaeve Demko will be back sooner than expected.
The Canucks have gotten great goaltending from rookie Arturs Silovs and will continue to ride him, but fans have some room to hope that Demko could be back in the crease sooner than expected.
