The Vancouver Canucks have introduced a new Rinkside Reporter, Olivia McDonald, to their content team, which also includes Senior Hockey Writer Chris Faber and Editorial Writer Lindsey Horsting.
McDonald, originally from Kamloops, BC, has long been a passionate Canucks fan. After leaving BC at 18 to pursue her dream of becoming a Rinkside Reporter, she returned to her roots. A graduate of the Canucks' Top Prospects program, McDonald completed a broadcast journalism diploma at Mount Royal University in Calgary and worked as a reporter for CKPG News in Prince George, BC. Recently, she served as a TV Host/Digital Producer for the AAHL'sCalgary Wranglers and NNLL'sCalgary Roughnecks, as well as the in-bowl host for the Calgary Flames. She will bring fans closer to the team in her new role with exclusive behind-the-scenes content.
