As Rick Tocchet stated, half the team decided not to show up last night when they played the Bruins. The team has been flat at 5-on-5 lately and the power play's inability to produce in Boston only placed it further ahead.

TOCCHET TRYING NEW THINGS?
The Canucks had a practice scheduled prior to their meeting with the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday. The team's pilot placed a different line-up on the ice and moved a few of his players up and down the line-up.

Elias Lindholm was moved to J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser's left, while Nils Hoglander got the assignment to play on Elias Pettersson and Ilya Mikheyev's right. The Garland, Blueger, Joshua unit remained unchanged. Pius Suter, Nils Aman and Sam Lafferty composed the 4th line.

Tocchet will try and spark things up offensively, the Canucks will be back on the ice to prove that the game in Boston was just a bump on the road.
