The Canucks have 11 pending free agents on their NHL roster this season, with the majority of those being UFAs.

Included in that bunch are two members of the team's impressive 3rd line, that has provided depth scoring and energy play all season long.

One of those players is 27 year old Dakota Joshua, who added a Gordie Howe hat trick to his career season on Monday night.

The Canucks Army podcast discussed what a new Dakota Joshua contract could look like, and speculated that he might get a 3x3 contract, or more.

According to projections from AFP Analytics, Joshua projects to get a shade over $3 million on a 3 year deal, a number that could be on the rise if he sustains his pace.

Although the Canucks will be limited in who they can bring back to the roster, with his unique blend of size and goal scoring, is that a deal the Canucks should sign?
