MAJOR | The verdict is in for Arshdeep Bains and the Canucks
The Abbotsford Canucks' leading scorer could make his NHL debut tonight.
Surrey, BC native
Arshdeep Bains was called up to Vancouver on the weekend, and expects to see his first NHL action tonight.
Rick Tocchet wants to get the 23 year old into the lineup and see what he's got at the NHL level.
While the Canucks have depth that has kept him out of the lineup this year, they'll hope he can step into an NHL role next season when some pending UFAs leave the team.
Bains has 39 points in 42 games in the AHL, if he does in fact make his debut tonight he'll be the 4th Punjabi player ever to suit up.
