An insider has gave an update last week about the possibility of the Vancouver Canucks moving on from forward Brock Boeser before the trade deadline in March.

The Vancouver Canucks are going to be one of the most interesting teams to watch over the next month and a half leading up to the NHL's trade deadline as Patrik Allvin and Jim Rutherford are open to listening to offers on all players amid their plans to rebuild.
"We may end up saying no to offers, certainly, but we're not going to say no to having conversations about any player. This is about improving this team without taking shortcuts." Rutherford said about the Vancouver Canucks' trade plans.

Vancouver's priority is to move on from their pending unrestricted free agents, such as Kiefer Sherwood, Teddy Blueger and Evander Kane, but if someone comes calling with an offer for someone else, like a Brock Boeser or Elias Pettersson, the team is certainly going to consider it.

NHL insider gives update on possibility of Vancouver Canucks trading Brock Boeser

Brock Boeser has had a tough season so far, with just ten goals in 46 games, his last on Thursday against the Columbus Blue Jackets broke a 21-game goalless drought.
Despite his struggles this season, everyone knows the type of player Brock Boeser can be when he's at the top of his game - a six-time 20-goal scorer and someone who can play in the top-six and on the top power play unit, which would certainly interest some teams leading up to the trade deadline.
While making an appearance on Sekeres and Price on Thursday, NHL insider David Pagnotta revealed that even if there is interest in Brock Boeser before the deadline, he doesn't believe the Burnsville, Minnesota native would be open to a move.
"I just think even if there is interest, I don't imagine he would entertain it right now." Pagnotta said.
As is the case with several others on Vancouver's roster, Brock Boeser's trade value isn't very high at the moment and the club likely wouldn't get a great return for him in the weeks ahead.
If Vancouver wants to trade Boeser, in order to maximize their return, which would go a long way in aiding their rebuild, they should wait until the summer as it would give the 28-year-old an opportunity to build up his value over the final three months of the season.
