A new photo of Vancouver Canucks Captain Quinn Hughes and former teammate/current New York Rangers star J.T. Miller is going viral at Team USA's Olympic Orientation Camp, stirring speculation that their rumoured "beef" may finally be over.
The 2024-25 season for the Vancouver Canucks was one to remember, but for all the wrong reasons, as the the year was plagued by distraction cantered around the drama between Elias Pettersson and former teammate J.T. Miller.

The issues were reportedly put behind them when Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin made the hard decision to part ways with Miller, sending him to the New York Rangers for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini, and a first-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.
I think Hughes really backed Pettersson...He knew the fanbase was split on this but he felt very strongly that EP could still have a big impact for them. He believed this was a move they had to make. He believed in the long run every would be better off.
All though the drama revolved around Miller and Pettersson, speculation began that their was some additional beef between Miller and Canucks captain Quinn Hughes, when he took a shot at Hughes in their first reunion against one another.

While nothing has been confirmed, the viral photo suggests that even if they haven't squashed any beef, they are remaining at least civil with one another.
Regardless, you can best believe that Canucks fans will be watching very closely at the Olympics for any inclination of issues.
