National Hockey League insider Frank Seravalli clapped back at Michael Buble following comments the singer made last week and also took a shot at Elias Pettersson.
"I keep reading these things from the media. I haven't said his name, but I'm just gonna say it: Frank Seravalli. Frank is probably a really good guy. I don't know Frank. But, if Frank Seravalli is a Canuck insider then the 40 year old virgin is a pornstar." Buble said.
Less than a week later, Seravalli took the time to respond to Michael Buble's comments and in doing so, also took a shot at Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson.
NHL insider Frank Seravalli claps back at Vancouver Canucks superfan Michael Buble
During Monday's edition of Frankly Speaking, Frank Seravalli clapped back at Michael Buble's comments, saying that he found it odd and "would expect nothing less" from someone who he claims named his son after Elias Pettersson, who the insider called the most overpaid player in the National Hockey League.
Seravalli also went as far as to call the Vancouver Canucks a dumpster fire and that all this talk about comments made by Michael Buble towards him are a "classic misdirection" when fans should be focusing on their team.
"I found it very odd. I guess in the end I would expect nothing less of someone who has named one of his children after perhaps the NHL's most overpaid player. He has one of his kids that's partially named after Elias Pettersson, pretty odd." Seravalli said.
He added, "Don't get caught up in the misdirection. What are Canucks fans talking about today? It's that, and not the fact that their team has been a dumpster fire. Classic misdirection."
Bringing someone's child into this is very strange behaviour from Frank Seravalli and for someone who claims to be an insider, he appears to have a tough time getting his facts straight as Michael Buble's son, Elias, was born in early 2016, over a year before the Vancouver Canucks drafted Elias Pettersson, so no, he wasn't named after the Swedish forward and it's safe to say a quick Google search could've helped him there.
