The Quinn Hughes trade from the Vancouver Canucks to the Minnesota Wild is still the biggest news in sports, Hughe's character and leadership has been called into question by many after his demeanour with the Canucks prior to getting traded, and Nikita Zadorov of the Boston Bruins is one of those many.
Zadorov unfollowed Hughes from instagram following the trade, could have also been because the Wild pumped the Bruins 6-2 in Hughes' debut.
"Following Minnesota's 6-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Sunday, where he picked up his first goal in a Wild uniform, Quinn Hughes met with the media and opened up about his departure from the Vancouver Canucks."-Jaxon
Nikita Zadorov makes it clear he doesn't approve of Quinn Hughes.
It was posted on X by Andreas Wahl of Zadorov's feelings towards the Hughes trade. It was framed that Zadorov doesn't appreciate quitters and therefore unfollowed Hughes, for his lack of loyalty and commitment to his former team.
Zadorov casually keeping track of what happens within the #Canucks and letting quitters know... in his own way 😂
Hughes recently posted on Instagram his goodbye message to the club, and while it's heartfelt and positive. There is definitely a lot of fans not satisfied with what Hughes gave to this team, and how he got himself out of it.
"I am very proud to have played for the Vancouver Canucks for 7 years, I loved the passion in the city & it brought me some of the most exciting times of my life, living out my dream. What makes playing in Vancouver so special is the people, the city, and what the team means to them! I will always be proud to have represented the Canucks!
I want to thank Francesco Aquilini and the entire Aquilini family for everything they have done for me the last seven years, they have been first class and I will always be grateful to them. Thank you to Jim Rutherford and Adam Foote for their belief and mentorship. All the staff over the years for always being there for me. Thank you to my teammates, met some of my best friends."-Hughes

Zadorov who is known for being a leader, and a guy who plays every shift as if it were his last, would the be the kind of guy to not appreciate Hughes' way of doing things. And he certainly isn't the only one in the league who feels this way.
