The Vancouver Canucks' projected lineup has been revealed just hours before puck drop for tonight's game against Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche.
After defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets defeating the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night thanks to a multi-point effort from Drew O'Connor and a late winner from Brock Boeser, the Vancouver Canucks will be back in action tonight as they take on the Colorado Avalanche, who are coming off a massive 9-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers.
As of Sunday afternoon, Thatcher Demko's status is up in the air for tonight's game against the Avalanche after being given rest by the club due to the condensed schedule, with Patrik Allvin calling up Jiri Patera from AHL Abbotsford.
Allvin mentioned on After Hours with Scott Oake last night that Thatcher Demko could be a possibility for Sunday's game, but nothing was confirmed as it would depend on how he's feeling and if he needed another day for rest/maintenance.
Vancouver Canucks' lineup revealed for Sunday's game vs Colorado Avalanche
This afternoon, NHL.com shared their projected lineup for tonight's game between the Colorado Avalanche & Vancouver Canucks, and for Adam Foote's group, it looks like everything will remain the same, aside from the starting goaltender, which is still to be determined, but could be either Thatcher Demko or Jiri Patera given that Kevin Lankinen was between the pipes on Saturday.
Ever since the calendar flipped to November, Drew O'Connor has taken a big step forward following his poor start to the season as he's registered four points (three goals, one assist) in four games and will look to get on the scoresheet once again tonight while playing a top-six role.
