Sportsnet analysts reveal playoff predictions including for Vancouver
The Stanley Cup Playoffs get underway today with a pair of games - Carolina Hurricanes vs New York Islanders and Boston Bruins vs Toronto Maple Leafs. Over at Sportsnet, their analysts gave their predictions for the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs including for the Vancouver Canucks.
17 writers, insiders and analysts at Sportsnet were polled on who they think will win each of the first round series', win the Stanley Cup and who will win the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
For Vancouver's series against the Nashville Predators, 14 of the 17 polled predicted that the Canucks would win the series, with the majority saying it will go to six or seven games. Nick Kypreos, Mark Spector and Sam Cosentino were the ones who chose the Nashville Predators to win the series.

Meanwhile, none of the 17 polled by Sportsnet chose the Vancouver Canucks to win the Stanley Cup, but more surprisingly, none of them chose the Toronto Maple Leafs either.
