With Patrick Allvin recently announcing the veterans of the Vancouver Canucks are open to being traded, many are wondering who will go and who will stay, and without question Evander Kane is one name that circulating in the trade talks.

"If Vancouver's season continues to spiral downwards over the next couple of months, Patrik Allvin will need to pivot and become sellers ahead of the deadline, with guys like Kiefer Sherwood, Evander Kane and Teddy Blueger, who are on expiring contracts, potentially being trade chips for the Canucks."-Jaxon

Kane is almost a sure thing to be dealt this season.

Taj posted on X that there is almost no question that Evander Kane will be traded this season, he hasn't done enough to earn his spot on the team, and he is on an expiring contract.
Dhaliwal on Kane:

He's going to be moved here...He's one of the guys that's going to get moved there's no question.

(Kyper & Bourne)
As of right now with the Canucks Kane has recorded just three goals and 8 assists for 11 points in 21 games and -6 rating. Furthermore his off-ice antics also put the organization in a bad spot. His recent display of showing his political affiliations have caused a lot of controversy, and frustration amongst the fans. At least if he were producing it could be justified, but he isn't and just causing further distraction for the team.
We should expect to see Kane traded in the next couple months. Hopefully for some decent draft picks, as next years draft is quite deep.
