The agent for Vancouver Canucks defenseman Tyler Myers opened up in an interview about his client's future with the organization and the trade rumors involving him.

The Vancouver Canucks have made it know that they're entering a rebuild after a tough 2025-26 season to date, with the club currently sitting at the bottom of the National Hockey League's overall standings with 17 wins in 51 games entering action on Sunday.
Veteran defenseman Tyler Myers has seen his name mentioned in the rumor mill around the National Hockey League ever since the Canucks announced their rebuilding plans, but it doesn't sound like the blueliner has any intentions of wanting to leave Vancouver.
"As noted in this space on Sunday, it's doubtful Tyler Myers would be willing to waive his no-trade clause. His family is well-settled in Vancouver and it's hard to imagine him welcoming a move away from the west coast, even to a team coached by his old boss in Travis Green." Patrick Johnston of The Province said.

"It's a pretty similar situation. If the team's going to come to you and say, 'Look, we have something, and we want to discuss it,' we have to discuss it. But he has a no-move [clause]. He secured it for the kind of deal, and the intention was to play in Vancouver. He's a veteran guy who wanted to finish his career in Vancouver. So that's even a more delicate discussion. Like I said, it's all hypothetical, and I have a hard time dancing around all these hypotheticals that, until we have the actual team and the GM of Vancouver wanting to discuss it, it's just hypothetical." Barry said about Tyler Myers and his future with the Vancouver Canucks.
