Vancouver Canucks Drop Brand New Logo Today for First Nations Celebration Game

As all NHL teams prepare to resume the regular season after the exciting 4 Nations Face-Off tournament that concluded last night, the Vancouver Canucks dropped some aesthetic changes, unveiling a brand new logo.
The Vancouver Canucks have a history of creating special jersey's and logos for events and celebrations that need extra attention as just a few weeks ago, they dropped a logo for 'Black History Month".
«Black Excellence Night is a time to celebrate Black culture and recognize the important role Black communities play in our history and society,» said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports & Entertainment, Business Operations. «We're committed to highlighting the voices and stories of our diverse fanbase and look forward to welcoming the artists and organizations that are going to be a big part of this night.»
Vancouver Canucks unveil logo for 'First Nations Celebration game
As stated, in their efforts to shed light on important topics, the Vancouver Canucks will be holding a First nations Celebration game on March 5th that exemplifies a powerful tribute to the deep connection that Vancouver has with the indigenous communities of Canada.
This seasons celebration will be highlighted by a brand new logo that was created by Coast Salish artist, Cole Sparrow-Crawford.
Celebrating the link between #Canucks and the territory in which we play.
Introducing this year's First Nations celebration logo, designed and described by Coast Salish Artist, Cole Sparrow-Crawford.

The new logo is reminiscent of the current Canucks alternate "Flying Skate" logo that all fans love.
The pattern keeps the same shape but incorporates "the pattern which honors traditional indigenous weaving craft, inspired by creations from the artist's family.
