The Vancouver Canucks could be in for some good news, as Patrick Allvin has announced they sent Jiri Patera back to the Abbotsford Canucks, hinting a Kevin Lankinen return, Jonathan Lekkeriamki has also been called back up.

Lankinen left the team recently due to the personal reasons, putting the Canucks in a tough situation with Thatcher Demko also being out.
"In a post on X this morning, the Vancouver Canucks announced that goaltender Kevin Lankinen will not be traveling with the team today to Anaheim for personal reasons and that they've called Jiri Patera back up to the NHL."-Jaxon

Lankinen and Lekkerimaki set to return to Canucks.

Brendan Batchelor on X posted the Canucks announcement of the recent roster moves. It's definitely good news since the Canucks are suffering through injuries in all positions.
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that G Jiri Patera has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) and F Jonathan Lekkerimäki has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL).
The Canucks were forced to ride the tandem of Jiri Patera and Nikita Tolopilo, who prior to being called up, had only 11 games of NHL experience under their belts combined. Demko is still set to be out for a few more weeks maybe more, depending on his recovery. So getting Lankinen back is definitely a weight off the shoulders.
The Canucks will be in Los Angeles tonight to face the Kings, who have climbed to second place in the Pacific Divison after a solid month of November. It wouldn't be foolish to count Lankinen out of starting tonight, and the Canucks can use all the help they can get right now.
