It's been an incredible year for J.T. Miller of the Vancouver Canucks, as well as Toronto Maple Leafs forward Auston Matthews, the latter of whom is eyeing down the 70-goal mark with the 2023-24 regular season coming to a close in just over a week.
During Monday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights, Vancouver Canucks forward J.T. Miller reached the 100-point mark for the first time in his career, and it was only the seventh time in team history that anyone has reached that plateau.
Not only did Miller put himself in the Canucks' history books, he joined Auston Matthews as the only two American-born players this season to reach 100 points, which marks the third season in a row where multiple Americans have hit that mark.
After dealing with trade rumours for a good chunk of the 2022-23 campaign, it's great to see that J.T. Miller has reached a significant milestone in his career in the National Hockey League. There's no doubt that he's going to be an important player for the Vancouver Canucks for the duration of his contract.
