Worst Case Scenario Smacks Vancouver Canucks Owner Francesco Aquilini
A worst case scenario has smacked Vancouver Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini in the face, and fans cannot be more happy about.
There may be a lot of question marks for the Vancouver Canucks moving forward into the offseason, but one thing is for certain is fans are not a fan of owner Francesco Aquilini and his ability to run the organization.
A report earlier in the year ranked him as the 2nd worst owner in all of the NHL, only following Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula.
Why the Dallas Stars moving on to the Western Conference Final is bad for Vancouver Canucks owner Francesco Aquilini.
Every reasonable Canucks fan is at least somewhat cheering for Dallas right? We need Gaglardi to win the Cup. Would be another black stain for Aquilini ownership legacy. The guy you were going to buy team with buys diff team few years later and wins cup before you.
All of this pettiness stems from Aquilini's relationship with Tom Gaglardi, a Canadian entrepreneur and current owner of the Dallas Stars.
Before owning the Stars, he had extreme interest in purchasing the Canucks back in 2004.
But, as it went, instead of getting 50% of the team with his bid, he was outbid by his rival and former associate Francesco Aquilini, who took full control of the organization in 2006.
With Aquilini's huge ego and inability to recognize his methods of dealing with the public and the organizations fans are flawed, fans are relishing in the fact that the Stars are moving on to the Western Conference Finals, rubbing it the face of the owner the dislike so much.
