MUST SEE | Wild slash leads to scrum during minor hockey game
A video was circulating on social media on Tuesday of a wild slash during a minor hockey game. There aren't a ton of details regarding the incident such as location or when this occurred.
One player on the black team was attempting to move the puck out of his own zone when a player on the white takes a run at him and tries to make a big hit, which didn't work out so well for him.
After attempting the hit, several players on the black team came to their teammates defence and started pushing the player on the white team. Number 13 on the white team in the video below then proceeds to swing his stick viciously at a player on the black team with so much force that his stick breaks.
Following the slash, a scrum ensued with multiple players getting involved before the officials come in to separate them and cooler heads prevail.
It's unclear if any supplemental discipline was dished out by the league following this incident, but if you were in charge, would you suspend number 13 on the white team for that slash? Let us know what you think in the poll below!
