The Sharks are in Vancouver as we speak and we've just witness a crazy scene that might've resulted in an injury.
Nils Hoglander was caught throwing a very nasty slewfoot on the Sharks' forward Kevin Labanc. The forward immediately left for the locker room.
Hoglander was assessed a match penalty for an attempt to injure. With no prior incident to his resume, it would be a surprise to hear from the NHL Player Safety Department, but we'll find out later on.
