Allvin announces major setback on the Injury front
The Canucks have had major setbacks with injuries that which cost them a lot since the season began and now things aren't getting any better.
Thatcher Demko and Tanner Pearson are currently sidelined for injuries and the latest news concerns the latter. The Canucks have just released the following statement on behalf of Allvin:
«General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Tanner Pearson underwent a second-hand surgery yesterday after a setback in his recovery, and he will miss the remainder of the 2022.23 season.»
Pearson only took part in 14 games this season cumulating 5 points in that span. The 30-year-old winger has been dealing with injuries a lot over the last three seasons since he will have played no more than 133 games. Pearson carries a $3.25M AAV until the end of 2024, two hand surgeries will definitely make it harder to trade him.
