BREAKING: The team's all-star absent from practice + new lines
Tough loss in Vancouver last night since the team failed to register a goal and took a 3-0 loss against the Wild.
Bruce Boudreau was trying a new mix in practice today. J.T. Miller and Bo Horvat were separated for the first time in a while. Miller was centering the second line alongside Dakota Joshua and Brock Boeser.
Bo Horvat was skating with Conor Garland and Nils Hoglander (hopefully Garland gets some quality icetime for the first time this season). Ilya Mikheyev was back with Andrei Kuzmenko and Sheldon Dries was driving the middle.
Jack Studnicka was back on the 4th line with Nils Aman and Curtis Lazar.
The defensemen pairings showed Burroughs skating with OEL, the two other pairings remains unchanged. That maybe indicates that Ethan Bear will be a healthy scratch in the next game?
Elias Pettersson was absent from the practice today. He was sent home at an earlier time since he was sick. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, I assume he'll regain his spot with Kuzmenko and Mikheyev on his wings once he's back in shape!
