Bieksa was not silent on the recent coaching change in Vancouver and even though he despises the way the organization proceeded with it, he stated that when he lived that same experience it really changed the culture in the locker room.

Tocchet will be taking over and try to build new foundations on this team. In the press conference they held this afternoon, they stated that they wanted to build for the long-term and that they weren't aiming for immediate rewards.
Even though the team has not had the success they had hoped for, Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes have taken another step into the right direction to take over the team's leadership.
