The heartbreaking reason for Bear's absence revealed
The Canucks had to take care of business without Ethan Bear last night and it's a truly heartbreaking reason that kept him out of work.
On Friday, Bear's fiance Lenasia shared on Instagram that the couple's dog named Bronco had just passed. The news left the Canucks' defenseman devastated and he could not bring himself to take the ice last night.
Lenasia shared a heartfelt message on the subject:
''We lost a member of our Bear family last night. My heart cannot comprehend this devastating loss but I know we will always remember and honor our Bronco. He traveled all over with us following Ethan's career and taking care of me and his flower girl while his dad was on that road.
Hold your fur babies close tonight, they are the biggest blessing''
We send our condolences to the Bear family as they recover from their loss.
