It's not a surprise that the Canucks are involved in almost every trade speculation, the team's management made many many headlines.
In his 32 Thoughts podcast, Insider Elliotte Friedman made an interesting trade suggestion implicating the Canucks and the Capitals.
Despite winning 5-1 in Vancouver last weeks, the Caps have been underperforming so far and they definitely need to shake things up in their locker room. The Canucks on the other hand, have Brock Boeser, whose agent has started calling around to see if he could find a potential trade partner for his client.
''I wonder about for Brock Boeser in Washington I wonder if a Mantha-Boeser move makes any sens for both''
Anthony Mantha is a 6'5'' and 235 pounds forward that certainly brings a different aspect to the game than Boeser. He's proven in the past that he could score and just like our own right winger, he's struggled so far this year.
Cap wise, there isn't much difference between the two, but Mantha will be a UFA a year before Boeser. With the team's recent success (eight wins in the last 11 games), would it make sens to pursue a playoff spot and making a move for a big veteran?
