Great news on the injury front for the Canucks
The Canucks took a hard loss to start off their road trip. They met the Jets that were ready to get going as they netted 7 while the Canucks only managed 4.
We can potentially blame the team's 2nd Spencer Martin and 3rd goalie Collin Delia for the lackluster performance as they've let in 7 goals on only 27 shots. There's no way they are at fault on all 7 goals.
The Canucks were starting a 5 games road trip and it appears that Thatcher Demko followed the team.
Demko being on the trip does not indicate that he'll play, but it certainly indicates that he's getting closer to a return. Demko's been on the sidelines for over a month now and the team is in desperate need of help in front of the net unless they want to get a run a certain Connor «phenom» Bedard.
Even though Demko was not his usual self since the beginning of the season, his return will definitely take pressure off of Martin who's cooling down after having a hot start with the team. Can Demko help the Canucks back on the playoffs track or is it too late to salvage this season?
