The Leafs are trying to bolster their blue and add some grit for the playoffs.

Schenn could easily get the Leafs to overpay the Canucks because of how reliable he is on defence and Schenn's contract is super cheap.
Kerfoot is a pending UFA this summer and has seven goals, and 19 assists is 60 games with the Leafs.
